Description
If I had had more time in Wuppertal, I would have ridden the train eastbound over this stretch and shot this exact picture again. Since this is from a westbound train (and therefore running on the north track), the train's shadow isn't as visible due to the train being mostly in the shadow of the superstructure. Had I snagged this picture on the eastbound run, I would have submitted it to the "Trains" magazine photography contest for their "light and shadow" themed competition this year. As it is, I still think this shot captures the heart of what makes the Wuppertaler Schwebebahn unique.
