Description

With the majestic roof of Frankfurt's balloon train shed soaring over her, this ICE T, with her characteristic short nose (half the length of an ICE 3's nose) waits quietly for departure. In the background, one can make out the arched window at the end of the adjacent shed. Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof's trainshed has a total of five spans, three of which have four tracks, and two of which have 2 tracks.
