Steam Train a'Comin

The locomotive put on a real show as it shoved its rake of two wooden passenger cars up the steep slopes of Rigi. This is Rigi Kaltbad, which is about 2/3 of the way up the mountain. These passengers were heading up to celebrate the new year at the summit. We were not willing to spend the extra dough to do that when I could get better pictures of the engine from trackside.
