Trambyrinth New Colors

With a little lucky timing, I landed a brand new Bombardier "rail grinder" and a 1982 Düwag running through the Roemerkreis trambyrinth wearing the same new color scheme of orange and blue. I like the colors, but the graphic designers focused too much on the nose, and not enough on the rest of the car. Rather surprisingly, it looks better to my eyes on the older equipment. Anyway, I keyed the orange and put it on a separate layer, did the same with the blue, then desaturated the background. This is my first attempt with a panoramic gradient instead of a circular one. I chose not to preserve it in this picture, but the bus visible on the right and reflected in the new tram's windows is painted in the old VRN scheme of white and faded aqua.
